The Pro Bull Rider's "major league" tour is the 29-city Built Ford Tough Series presented by Las Vegas.

The money a rider earns competing in the Built Ford Tough Series... BFTS and Challenger Tour Series... CTS is the pathway for that rider to the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada, the coveted Gold Buckle and the title of World Champion Bull Rider.

The points system is an "Accumulated" points/dollars won type system: Quite simple really. He that has the most... Wins!

However, points are accumulated only at regular BFTS events and there are "Bonus" points granted to riders: Determined by their respective finishing position in each round and overall finish at each event. A link to PBR's Bonus Points schedule is on the left.

The Challenger Tour is the Pro Bull Riders Association's minor league system... Of sorts.

The PBR's U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Challenger Tour serves as a "feeder" tour that gives bull riders the opportunity to earn a spot on the 45-man BFTS roster.

After every fifth Built Ford Tough Series event, the five top-ranked bull riders in the Challenger Tour standings are bumped up to the BFTS and replace the fifth lowest-ranked competitors. This cycle ensures that only the best riders compete in the Built Ford Tough Series.

Money earned at the Challenger Tour level applies to a bull rider's ranking in the 2003 season PBR Qualifier Standings that determine which 45 athletes will compete at the World Championships in Las Vegas.

The Humps n' Horns® tour was added this year by the PBR to help with the PBR's growth.

Humps n' Horns® is yet another step for riders eligible to enter the Challenger Tour Series and the Humps n' Horns® tour to become one of the top 45 riders to compete in the BFTS.

The theme and scheme of the Humps n' Horns® tour allows 40 riders in the first round... Eight of which progress to the nightly finals in both one and two day events.

The Mossy Oak Shoot Out, sponsored by Mossy Oak Brand Camo, is a bonus ride featured the first night of each two-day Bud Light Cup Series event.

The Shootout features the event's first-round winner matched against a predetermined bucking bull chosen by PBR Vice President and Livestock Director Cody Lambert.

If the rider makes a qualified ride, he wins the Mossy Oak Shootout cash bonus. If he does not, $5,000 is added to the bonus and offered at the next event.

U.S. Smokeless Tobacco's 90 Point Club is a "Member's Only", exclusive gathering of PBR Riders who have scored a minimum 90 point ride in a BFTS event.

Rider's pay their dues in this club by exceptional rides and are rewarded in the end by sharing a $90,000.00 bonus with their fellow club members.

Those riders with the most 90+ point rides get the lion's share of the bonus money but, no one goes unrewarded at the PBR Finals. However, the rider with the most 90 point or better rides is rewarded with another $10,000.00 deposit in his bank account Plus, he's crowned U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company 90-Point Club Champion.
