Double Duty Weekend
Jim has his traveling duds on for this weekend's events.
The Four Star Arena U. S. Smokeless Tobacco Challenger Tour event will begin today (August 22) in Marion, Illinois with a "Pre-Event" Party... Sure to be a toe tappin', high steppin' good time with a live band and guest appearances by PBR's World Champion Cody Hart and the Bullfighters for the event as well as Jim.
The PBR Four Star Arena event will be Friday and Saturday (08/23-24/02). More information on the festivities may be found at the Four Star Arena web site or call 618-997-3336. Adult tickets, at the gate are $24.00.
Jim will then move on over to Archdale, North Carolina, Saturday (08/24) for The 4th Annual Jerome Davis Coca-Cola PBR Invitational Challenger Tour Event being held at the Davis Ranch Arena.
The "Invitational" will pay out an estimated $24,000 and of course, Jim will try his best to relieve Jerome Davis of a fair chunk of that change (Jerome, meet ya at the slots in Vegas!).
All the riders will be pitted against Teague & Davis Bucking Bulls which is a growing partnership between Jerome Davis and Tom Teague (PBR Board of Directors). Watch for the rider who draws "Black Jack". Should be a wild ride.
Tickets for the Archdale event are $5.00 - $20.00. Call 336-861-7673 or check the web site.

Weatherford Event ResultsBelow is the PBR results from the Weatherford, Texas Challenger Tour Event that was held August 16 - 17.
As you can see, Jim did not fare so well. Jim slapped his bull, which of course, disqualified his ride. Nevetheless, It's only a short time until Wrangler's Bullnanza in Reno, Nevada and another opportunity.
